Welcome to the blog!!!! The Santa Fe Cubs 2024 fall season is off and running. We just wrapped up Week Two with two big wins, bringing our record to 2-2 after a tough fought Week One that didn’t produce a win.  We faced some tough opponents Week One and the team came out of the games with an understanding of where we came up short and got to work tightening up the defense and baserunning shortcomings.  Week two showed great improvement as we faced our rival Santa Fe team, The Dodgers. This match up brought out the best in the boys as they cruised to a 13-4 victory showing greatly improved defense, keeping The Dodgers to only a handful of hits.  

The second game of the Sunday double header was against The ABA Hooligans. The dog days of summer are still very much present in New Mexico, and it was great watching the boys battle through the heat and get a 9-5 victory over the ABA squad.  

This coming weekend we will play in the first 2024 fall tournament at The North Valley Little League fields.  This three-day tournament will be a great opportunity for the team to take the Week Two momentum forward and grab a ring.
